MEC!!!

Eric and I went to a parent-teacher conference this morning for Anna. I got a call from the teacher saying that she especially wanted to talk to me so of course I was a little nervous.

Anna attends the Montessori Education Center at the end of our street. She gets up everyday and is so happy to go - it has been heaven sent. I now know why we did not move away from this house. Her teacher, Miss Emilie, could not say enough good things about Anna. She is very well behaved, polite, patient, kind and of course smart. I had told the teacher at the beginning that Anna has autism and so I was not sure how she would do.??? Miss Emilie does not agree that Anna has anything wrong with her. She loves her so much. When I went to education night and saw how Montessori works I was in tears because I knew that this was the perfect set-up for Anna and it is!!!! I feel so blessed to live in this country where there are choices and where we have such amazing teachers and resources to help us.
