Labor Day!
We had a great Labor Day weekend. Saturday we had a big Crandall party at Kevin and Lori's house and everyone was there except for Eva and her family and Jonny. There was way too much yummy food and lots of swimmingand visitng. It was so good to see everyone. We got to keep Christi's daughter Nikki with us for the weekend and she is such a good girl and good example for my girls. On Sunday night I called Christi and asked if maybe she wanted Emma and Nikki to spend the night with her at grandma's and she offered to take Anna instead! Anna was so excited to spend time with her best friend Britton. I guess they slept all night and just got along perfectly.

The next morning Christi called and said that she was coming over to help Eric clean up our back yard. You do not understand, our back yard looks like the junk yard. We have way too much stuff back there and the weeds are everywhere and it has been so hot that we have just ignored it. So Christi came over and she dragged some junk out of the yard and put it in Eric's truck. Then she pulled weeds in the front yard. After that she helped Eric fill up the vending machines in our garage. Then she came in and helped Emma and Nikki clean up Emma's room. I was gone during this time taking Erika somewhere. When I got home she offered to help me paint my dining room. We went to Walmart and got some paint and she bought some flowers for the kids to plant in the back yard! When we got home she taped off the dining room and she painted it for me while I cleaned the rest of the house. Then she went out and planted flowers with the kids. Holy Cow! She is Wonder Woman! I owe her big. She is always so sweet to us and has helped us many times. I hope that sometime I can go to her house in Yuma and help her. Thank you so much Christi!!!!


( a little side note...I painted my kitchen on Tuesday and when my kids came home from school they all asked who had done the painting! They thought that Christi had come back. )
