Blinding tree of death.

Yes, so apparently our Christmas tree bothered no one but me (Erika). I don't know why, but I couldn't look at our tree for more than a few seconds without being totally blinded and having my eyes water... Mom loved the LED lights on the tree and both parents swore that they're fine and actually use LESS energy than regular bulbs, but I swear they're brighter and they continue to blind me. We took some pictures of the Blinding tree of Death so I could admire our tree without dying and so I could warn you of its powers... Beware:

See: you know it's bad because it even blinds the camera--causing it to take extremely blurry pictures. That tree is possessed, I square. Don't look directly into the star.
Fortunately, we have taken it down and I will not have to suffer until next year. :) I love Christmas, but this tree was too much. Joseseph and I couldn't look at it for long periods of time without feeling uncomfortable. Oh well, all's well that ends well.
