We believe in miracles!
As you all know (from our last post) we WERE going through a divorce. Eric and I did not take care of our precious relationship and we let everything and everyone come between us. Through many miracles and alot of prayers we are back together and we are happier than ever. I am so grateful to my Heavenly and his watchful care. I have been taught so much in these last few months. My testimony has grown. We are both very different people now. I know that people can change. I know that love is a very strong bond. I know that the marriage covenant is something that is very precious and should be first and foremost. I am thankful to have my wonderful husband back. He is such a good man and I will not take him for granted again. We call this our "second" marriage and so we are in the planning stages for our "second honeymoon!" :)

For those of you who thought we dropped off the face of the planet, we have not. :) We have been SUPER busy and too lazy to blog anything....hehe. Mandy turned 11, our cousin Maddie came to visit from Texas, school started, the boys started wearing white shirts & ties to church, the Bailey twins passed away, our Uncle Fred passed away, our refrigerator caught fire out in the garage and filled the house with smoke, and we bought THE COOLEST GAME EVER called Kill Dr. Lucky!!!! (Come over & play!!!) Fun, FUN,FUN!!! Here's some pictures to back up my story:

Blanding, Utah :)
Pictures from our trip to Blanding, Utah for the 4th of July :) (notice the picture of the temperature reading in the car)
(in case you can't read it, the temperature was 68 degrees (Fahrenheit) when we left Blanding! It was 117 in Mesa...
We caught him! ;) (just kidding! it's a reflection on a cup or something--he's not actually smoking :P)

Lunch Conversation
Yesterday, (my 5yr. old) Anna was sitting at the kitchen table with her friend Chelsea. She turned to Chelsea and said, "It is a good thing that you are not a dog. I am glad that I am not a fox because if we were we could not be friends for much longer - we would have to be enemies." I loved it! I guess that she had watched Disney's Fox and the Hound lately. I love when my kids come up with randomness!

Inspiring Quotes...
I found two quotes that were written just for me for this time in my life. I wanted to share them with all of you....
"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself."
"Patience - the ability to put our desires on hold for a time. Patience is a rare virtue. We want what we want and we want it now. Therefore, the very idea of patience may seem unpleasant and at times bitter. Nevertheless, without patience we cannot please God, we cannot become perfect. Indeed, patience is a purifying process that refines understanding, deepens happiness, focuses action, and offers hope for peace."

June = Summer Workshops at MCC. I love my job! I am so busy this month but I am so grateful for all of this work. I work with great people and awesome kids and I get to do what I love - play the piano. I want to thank all of the people who make it possible for me to be gone so much...my parents, my sweet daughter Erika, Eric's mom and sisters, and a couple of really good friends...you are all so wonderful. I also want to thank my very patient kids. For these last two weeks I leave the house at 9:00 a.m. and I do not return until after 10:00 p.m. so sometimes if they are asleep when I leave I don't get to see them until the next day. I hope they all still love me when this ends.
